Last week I introduced you to the AmaMagna – This week I want to tell you about her amazing onboard amenities! Here are 5 things you’re going to LOVE about this incredible new ship!
1. Exciting Onboard Leisure Activities!
Many of today’s River Cruisers don’t lie around all day – but they are active, engaged, & curious! This ship will feature a relaxing sun deck pool, a fitness center, a whirlpool, or enjoy a visit to the hair salon, 2-room spa, or even enjoy a mani-pedi!
An exciting feature exclusively on AmaMagna at this time is the 14-person boat named “Sundowner” – pictured below – which launches off of the Watersports Platform (also pictured below). With this, enjoy exclusive river-based excursions with 13 of your new best friends!
2. A Focus on Wellness
Speaking of Activities, the AmaMagna not only has fitness facilities so you can keep up your fitness routine, but AmaMagna will also provide you the chance to enjoy the expansive Zen Wellness Studio with group classes that focus on stretching, cardio & circuit training – and it’s even led by a professionally trained Wellness Host!

4. Multiple Dining Venues
AmaWaterways is well known for their amazing cuisine which is locally inspired throughout your journey. Every River Cruise ship has a main dining venue and often a Chef’s Table experience in an intimate, tucked away room.
Now, The Chef’s Table aboard AmaMagna is a spectacular experience in addition to the main restaurant onboard. Normally the kitchen is hidden, but with the Chef’s Table it becomes part of the entertainment!
The AmaMagna also features Jimmy’s Wine Bar restaurant which is named for AmaWaterways’ beloved late co-owner, Jimmy Murphy. All of this is included in your AmaWaterways river cruise!
5. Absolutely Incredible, Luxurious Staterooms
I did save one of my personal favorites for last. Yes, the ship is STUNNING with all its amenities and services. However, there’s something special about entering your stateroom.
Look at this gorgeous bed to balcony area!
With larger-than-average accommodations at 355-710 sq ft, including very generous sized bathrooms (many with double sinks and very nice walk-in showers), you’ll see from these photos how lovely and relaxing a room like this is going to be for you.
As you can see, these rooms are a breath of fresh air for frequent cruisers who how the average stateroom size and style feel. With tons of personal space, with a full balcony to boast, you can sit out and stretch out your legs while you float by the stunning scenery of the Danube.
