4 Things Holiday Travel Does to Your Body

I’m so glad you came in to read this email! I appreciate you and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season – whatever that looks like in your world.

My family is getting ready to make our annual trip from our new home here in North Carolina up to Pennsylvania, and it got me to thinking about how travel during the holidays can affect us.

  • Dry Skin
  • Less than stellar nutrition
  • Physical stress/strain
  • Tiresome/exhaustion

Check out this article that explains HOW and WHY these things happen.

One last thing.

Stop what you’re doing right now, and answer these questions. Don’t think too hard. It won’t take long but it will be worth it!

  • Blank paper, 5 minutes. Or just 1 minute. Write everything you can recall that was amazing in 2017.
  • Flip it over. Now write the things that stunk. Only 1 minute tops! Let’s not dwell on the ugly.
  • New sheet. 5 minutes. Now go nuts on everything you’d love to do any time for the rest of your life. Skills you want to develop, people to meet, hobbies to acquire, places you have to see, health goals, fitness goals, spiritual goals, relationship goals, house goals, car goals – whatever it is for you. Write it all down.
  • Once that’s done, circle 10 you want to do this year.
  • Once that’s done, make a plan, month by month, and if you’re having fun go for the first 90 days week by week.
  • God bless you in 2018!!!

Now you have set GOALS instead of resolutions. Keep this paper with the 10 circled items where you can see it!
