American Airlines Now Offering Vaccine Verification Option in VeriFLY

Because many destinations are requiring proof of a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination for travelers, American Airlines is working with mobile app VeriFLY to help customers verify vaccination status and ready to fly before they even set foot in an airport.

American Airlines’ VeriFLY app

The VeriFLY app makes travel easier by allowing customers to enter their flight information, & guide through the necessary travel requirements. Customers can upload proof of met requirements directly to the app, which validates those match the destination’s requirements, & displays a pass or fail indicator.

Customers who use the VeriFLY app and depart from several of American’s hubs can use dedicated & expedited entry lanes for airport check-in. These dedicated lanes can save time by allowing travelers to bypass standard queues. These hubs are:
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Miami International Airport (MIA)
O’Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago
Cancun International Airport (CUN) in Mexico
Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Costa Rica
El Dorado Luis Carlos Galan Sarmiento International Airport (BOG) Bogotá, Colombia
Heathrow Airport (LHR) in London
Narita International Airport (NRT) in Tokyo

VeriFLY is part of American Airlines’ commitment to ensure customers are ready for the air with tools to make travel simpler in this complex time. For more information, check out American’s page here: Prepared for the Air at https://news.aa.com/prepared-for-the-air/.
