The Yellow Brick Road Cocktail is a refreshing Greek beverage, since its primary ingredient is Ouzo.
With the taste of licorice made obvious, Ouzo it is made of grape or grain-based alcohol and a minimum of 37.5% proof. The Yellow Brick Road Cocktail recipe adds Champagne, lemon, and cinnamon which makes it very easy to drink, but beware of that alcohol content! Enjoy!
DIRECTIONS:
1. Add ouzo, lemon juice, and cinnamon syrup to a cocktail shaker full of ice
2. Shake vigorously|
3. Strain into a champagne glass and top off with champagne
4. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve
NOTES:
Make keto simple syrup by using 1 part low carb sweetener to 1 part water. Boil, simmer, and reduce heat. Allow it to cool to room temperature and then store in the fridge.
