The North Star is the brightest star in the galaxy, & it has a powerful history as a navigation tool and has captured the collective imagination as a symbol for inspiration and hope.
So, it makes perfect sense that this cocktail is a favorite of Star Clippers’ guests with its nautical distinction, but it’s also delicious, too!
INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ oz Whiskey (Salted Carmel flavor-if you can find it-is wonderful!)
1/2 oz Amaretto
2 oz apple juice
2 dashes of grated nutmeg
2 dashes of cinnamon
Star anise for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine all ingredients in shaker tin and shake with ice until well chilled.
2. Strain into chilled coupe
3. Enjoy!
