Sustainability is more important than ever for many people. A very healthy number of travelers began considering the environment in 2021 – a 55% growth over 2020. So, if you have concerns about sustainability and want to make sure your travel is environmentally friendly, you’re not alone!
Personally, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the initiatives that many of the best travel companies, resorts, and cruise lines are taking. Keep in mind that there is a continuum of sustainability, so it means different things to different people. To some, sustainable travel has to do with carbon offsets and clean fuel, while for others it is about supporting local businesses in a destination or choosing to travel to a place or at a time that doesn’t stress natural resources. This is one trend that won’t be going away—and that’s a very good thing.

Visiting an All-Inclusive for Romance and Fun
The Caribbean and Mexico are some of the most popular areas for people to take an all-inclusive resort vacation or a cruise (see below). Why is that, you may wonder? Well, not only is it lovely, lovely, lovely weather & value-packed, but resorts with clear and rigorous health and safety protocols are highly desirable. This was in place before, but now it’s been enhanced.

Though we are still in a pandemic, people are naturally gravitating towards sun and fun destinations where they can go and not feel worried about the ‘out and about’ public areas that may be less health-wise safe.
