This delicious piña colada agua fresca will have you feeling like you’re on a tropical vacation. Not only refreshing, this super yummy treat will definitely put you in the mood to plan your next authentic sailing adventure!
YIELD: 1 medium pitcher
INGREDIENTS:
I Can Coconut Milk (do not use non-fat milk)
1 Medium Pineapple (peeled and chopped)
4 Cups Water
6-8 oz White Rum
Agave Nectar (to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place the can of coconut milk in the fridge 1 day prior (this will separate the cream from the liquid)
2. When ready to make the drink, open the can of chilled coconut milk; scoop out the cream part only and add to blender
3. Place peeled and diced pineapple chunks to the blender; add 2 cups water; blend until pineapple is pureed
4. Pour into a pitcher and add rum and remaining water (if you want a thinner drink, add more water)
5. Add agave nectar if needed to sweeten
6. Serve over ice
7. Enjoy!
